Cocoa's Christmas Tree

Hello my friends! I have a second post today, wow, this is very unusual, but here I go. This afternoon I had the chance to play with this cute digital image from Sweet & Sassy Stamps, it is "Cocoa's Christmas Tree", super fun to color.

Sweet & Sassy Stamps is having a Crazy for Cocoa Blog Hop and I am glad I am playing along. For my card I used the sketch from Skipping Stones, fun sketch.

I colored the image with Copic Markers, added few Pink and Red Rhinestones to the Christmas tree. The ribbon is "White Lace Tape Ribbon" from Love My Tapes.

Hope you like it!!
Have a great day!

Wee Memories Challenge #80: Anything Goes

Hello my friends!! Hope you are having a great Saturday. Also time for another fun Wee Memories Challenge, this week our challenge is "Anything Goes" so you don't have an excuse, we want to see your fantastic creations.
This challenge will last for 2 weeks so you can  enjoy your family time.

This time I decorated a candle with cinnamon sticks. This is not my original idea, I found something like this on Pinterest. This project is not difficult to make, but requires some patience and some skills with the heat glue gun (I burned my fingers several times)
I used Craft Cinnamon Sticks, they are different from your regular kitchen sticks, they are a bit less expensive and the smell is a little bit stronger. Just cut them the lenght of your candle, be sure you used a little saw or something like that, these sticks are really hard, I don't recommend to use scissors (like I did), create the patterns you like the most, start applying heat glue and holding them so they don't separate, after you finish all around the candle, add some twine, ribbon or anything you like. I made a medium pillar and 3 small ones (only 1 in the picture). I have them available for sell if any one is interested.

The deadline for this challenge is 11.59pm PST on Friday, December 30,  2011. For more details, some fabulous design team inspiration and to link up your projects, click here

Anyways, it's time for another fun Wee Memories Challenge, this week is Free for All!!! so feel free to post any of your creation on the WM blog.

Our sponsor this week is Artful Delight and the great prize is a CARD KIT!!!

All stamps are dies are from Heartfelt Creations .

This card is 5" square. I die-cut the flourish corners in Ivory Cardstock, ink all edges. I used some sticky paper and added it to Ivory CS, die-cut the Cardinal and added some Ultrafine glitter, then inked all edges. I did the same process with the leaves but instead of Glitter I added some Silver Gala Glitz, love this stuff!! I stamp the sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink and used Fleur de Lis Rectangle Nestabilities. I added some pearls and a big bow with a big White brad.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 2

Hello my friends and welcome to day 2 of Gina K. Designs Inspirational Blog Hop. Today we have 3 great set
  • Dogwood & Butterfly illustrated by Theresa Momber
  • Label Borders illustrated by Tami Mayberry
  • Friends are Flowers Duo
Dogwood & Butterfly: Love this set very much! The images are great for just stamping and leave them as it is or for nice coloring. I decided to color the dogwood with Inktense Pencils. I stamped the image twice on Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink, cut out one to do add after the cards was done.  I cut it in different angles so I can show a 3D effect. I added some Gold Gala Glitz in the center of each flower. I die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Oval Nestabilities, then mat it with Beaded Oval Nestabilities in Innocent Pink CS.
The background was a piece of Innocent Pink CS and Patterned Paper from Butterfly Garden by Pink Paislee, add zig-zag stitches, then add a strip of punch out P.P, add mini pearls and adhere it to card base.

Label Borders: This set is super versatile. For my card I stamp the heart border and sentiment in Barn Door Distress Ink, then using Grommet Tag Dies, I die-cut the border, then ink all edges. I added a couple of large pearls.
My card base is a piece of White Cardstock, I pleated a strip of Patterned Paper from Hometown Summer by Pink Paislee, then added some stitches and adhere it to card. Die-cut some butterflies, ink all edges and adhere it to card. Die-cut and emboss a piece of Red Hot CS using Scallop Circle Nestabilities, mat it a piece of die-cut PP using Circle Nestabilities. Adhere it to card base, add sentiment with pop dots and red paper roses.

Friends are Flowers Duo: Love this CAS (kind of) card! I had another idea when I started creating this card, but then I ended up with this pretty card, which I love very much.
I started my card with a piece of White CS as a card base. Die-cut a piece of Sweet Mango CS using Fleur de Lis Rectangle Shapeabilities, adhere it to card. Stamp image on White CS in Mememto Tuxedo Black, color it with Copic Markers and stamp sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Rectangle Nestabilities. Tie on Tangerine Twine and make a bow. Adhere image to card base with large pop dots. Add Pearls and Star Dust Stickles to flowers.
