My Sweet Petunia and Unity Stamps Swap Hop!!

Hello friends!! Welcome to another collaboration blog hop between My Sweet Petunia and Unity Stamps!!

For today, I have a couple of projects I want to share with you, simple and fun ones. As soon as I got my stamps, I colored them, you know I wanted to have them ready to go ASAP, lol, well that didn't happen, but another story. True story though is that I love to color, relax me after a very long day of work and makes me happy too!!

TIP: I like to keep my image on my MISTI while coloring, I make less mess and don't lose my image (yeah, sometimes I can't find my colored images)
So, let me show you them to you.

Project 1: This project uses "I have no fears" set. Stamped the image using my MISTI on a white piece of cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink (x2). Colored one image with Spectrum Noir Markers, and the second one only the grass/flower part, then create a window with Oval dies. Stamped the sentiment on vellum and green ink and added to the left top corner. Finally, I added 3 little heart die-cuts. Added a piece of patterned paper under the adhered panels and to the card base.

Project 2: This card is super fun!! I honestly had another idea for this project, but love how it turned out. I stamped the super cute image in Memento Tuxedo black and the sentiment in Ken Oliver Red Ink from Start Each Day set, colored the image with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. Cut the panel and added it to a piece of patterned paper and added stitches, die-cut a couple of ric-rac piece and glue them together. Final touch was a pink button with silver thread.

Be Silly, Be Honest, Be Kind

Hello friends! How are you all doing today? The long weekend is almost here! YAY!! I am planning a relax and crafty day, hopefully things go as planned ;)

Today, I have a super duper easy card, few pictures to show you the details using this brand new Rose Doodles stamp, the super cute stencil and the sentiment, that I love very much, from Technique Junkies, so let's get started.
  • First I started with a 6"x6" white card. Die-cut chapel kinda style and position my card base front, Rose Cluster stencil and die-cut, securing them with painter's tape. Then, I used Mustard Seed Distress Ink and started sponging from left to right, putting less pressure on the right side.

  •  After sponging, move the stencil a bit to the right and using a pink marker and trace on all the white parts.
  •  You will get something like this.

As a final touch I added pearls and the card was done!!

Now, you get these and more products over at the Technique Junkies store, and you can get 10% on your order using my code TJ10Giovana (excludes New releases and Clearance items)

Hope you like my project!
Have a fantastic day!

Happy Mother's Day cards!

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday, hope you all are having a great day. I have been wanting to make Mother's Day cards for a long list of friends and family, but since I have been quite slow like a sloth, well didn't do anything. So last night I was like, Oh My Goodness!!! I need to make something quick and beautiful!! I entered in a Mother's Day card exchange and I felt horrible thinking my paired mama has nothing yet, so I picked few stamps and dies sets from different companies and started mix matching them and found the perfect pair! These sets are from Concord and 9th, love then very much, have you seen the new release?? I feel like I need them all and a money tree, LOL

Anyways, let me show you the set I made, a set of 4, well 3 here since I sent one already ;)

I used "Happy Words" set for "Mother's Day" part, "Happy Card Frame Dies" for "Happy" and the pretty heart  and flowers from "Layers of Love Die"

These cards were easy and fun to put together, I die-cut the heart frame on a piece of Watercolor paper and misted the panel with Pink Rose Spray. The flowers were die-cut in watercolor paper as well and color with Spectrum Aqua markers, the sentiment was stamped in JetBlack ink and the "Happy was die-cut in Rose Pearl Shimmering cardstock using Stick it in the back, a lot easier to adhere to the card panel., added few sequins, rhinestones and silver thread and the cards were done. The card base is White Cardstock. Size card is A2.

Hope you like them!
Have a fantastic day!

Hello friends!! Welcome to another month! and also to my first blog hop as a new design team member for Technique Junkies!! This month's release is full of adorable stamps. You can check them out HERE If are arriving here from Vicki's blog, you are in the right place, if not please go to the Technique Junkies blog to find the right order
Today I am showcasing 3 new stamps, let me show them to you.

Big Dreams: Since I saw this image I knew I wanted it, this new set is called "Big Dreams", this girl is adorable, don't you agree with me? Love the big hair and her dreamy face.
I stamped the image on a piece of White Cardstock and colored it with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers (EB1, EB2, TN1, TN3, TN8, TN9, GY2, FS9, PP1, PP2, PP5), the sentiment was stamped on a piece of teal cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink and gold embossing powder. Die-cut a polaroid piece on white cardstock and added the image behind, mounted the sentiment with foam tape, then adhered the image to a gray base card. Finally, I added sequins and flowers (I will be sharing a tutorial on how I created the flowers, I used a TJ stamp, can you guess which stamp I used?

Here a look of the entire card, love how it turned out.

This second card is super fun!! If you are a cat lover, you are gonna love this stamp!! This cute cat stamp is called "Crazy Cat Border". I stamped on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark and White embossing powder, then sponged brown, yellows and oranges Distress inks to get a little bit of the mix of colors. Then I die-cut a panel from Kraft cardstock using 3 diferent circle sizes to create my windows for a shaker card. Looks like they are looking at each other from different windows. Then I added a die-cut cat (retired company)

Inside I used the "Cats and more cats" sentiment, it was heat embossed on a piece of gold cardstock. I stamped the crazy cat border on a piece of kraft cardstock in orange ink.

Now, hop over to Chris' blog and check out her wonderful creations!!
