Merry Christmas card set.

Hello everyone! Happy Friday or as I call it "Fri-YAY"!!! I am planning a crafty weekend, hopefully my shoulder will not bother me much and I can finish everything I am planning to do.
Anyways, have you seen the new Concord &9th release? Oh my goodness, I honestly wanted everything! I got part of the new release, I don't usually buy a lot of stamps, but I couldn't pass this release {wink, wink}.
This is what I got, and let me show you what I made with 2 of the stamps and 1 die set.

For this set, I used the new Plaid Background stamp, the sentiment is from "Christmas Cheer Turnabout stamp" and the pretty "Ribbon Banner Die".
Backgrounds were stamped in different color inks, the sentiment was stamped in versamark Watermark and added brown embossing powder to the banner.
Also, a great and fast way to mass produce this set is using your MISTI!!
As a final touch die-cut boughs using "Take a bough Die" set, added a red bow and sequins.

It didn't take me too long to make this pretty set, and you can do it too!!

Hope you like them and give then a try!
Have a fantastic day!

In Everything Give Thanks!

Hello friends! Fall is here, pretty leave colors, amazing weather (I am a fall weather person), pies and great bakes! Thanksgiving is just around corner, and what a better occasion to send a special card to your special people using the new Give Thanks stamp.

So today, I have a quick tutorial for you, so let's get started.
  • Start dusting little bits of Color Burst powders onto a piece of watercolor paper, then mist the cardstock until you like the result, set aside to air dry or use you heat gun.
  • After that, stamp image in jet Black Stazon Ink using your MISTI, it will take 2 or 3 pressures to get a goo impression (Remember watercolor cardstock is not as smooth as regualr cardstock)
  • After that, stamp the image in Versamark Watermark ink, then add Clear Embossing powder and heat set. (This give your image a shinier look)
  • Finally, die-cut the stamp piece and adhere it to a Kraft card base, add white and patterned paper panel and a scallop border. Add ribbon and dew drops.

And just in case you want to get any of the wonderful technique Junkies Stamps, you can use this code to get 10% off (excludes Ocotber release)

Hope you like it!

Best Wishes

Hello friends! Today, I want to share a card that it is not your regular Holiday/Christmas card, the last few years I have been "late/very late" sending my Christmas cards, so why not sending a "Happy New Year " card!! This sentiment from Technique Junkies is perfect for that. {wink, wink}

This card was super easy to put together, here I use one of the sentiments from "Gift of Christmas" set.
  • For this project you will need a piece of Coastal blue cardstock, Snow acetate and a snowy die-cut (or you can hand cut a snowy hill)
  • Stamp the sentiment on the die-cut , then ink all the edges of the little houses with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Adhere metallic tape on the bottom.
  • Adhere panels on a white card base, add a gold snowflake and your card is done!!

Easy peasy, right?
If you like this sentiment or more stamps , get them HERE, also don't forget to add this code to your shopping cart and get a 10% off (excludes October release)
Hope you like it.
Have a fantastic day!

Let it Snow.

Hello friends!! Happy Monday to you all. Hope you are having an amazing day. Today I want to share a super cool Christmas card. Last week Crafter's Companion was on HSN and this beautiful Create a Card Die was sold out, I really hope more come soon, but if you got one, here it is an idea on what to do with it.

For this project I used the "Sparkling Snowflakes" and "Circle Swing Base Die" , I used Kraft Cardstock for the card base and die-cut the under panel in Metallic red and the top panels in Metallic Gold. I also added a white snowflake on the side. This snowflake is from the Contemporary Christmas Collection.

I was thinking a family picture can be added in the circle part, that would be so cute that way, also you can make one panel without the decorative die-cut so you have space to write something or stamp a sentiment.

Entering this project to Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge: Christmas.

Hope you like it!

Technique Junkies October Release

Hello friends! Happy Sunday, October has arrived and that means a new Technique Junkies Release!!  October Release is full of amazing stamps, if you have arrived here from Vicki's blog, you are in the right place. So for this special hop, I worked with 2 sets: Give Thanks and Let It Snow.

In Everything Give Thanks
  • Start making a card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from black cardstock 5.25" x 4".
  • Cut a strip of patterned paper 1.75" x 5.25" and die-cut a scallop border, adhere to black panel and add straight and zig-zag stitches. Adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp "Give Thanks" image on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark ink, then add Gold Embossing powder and color it with markers (here I used Spectrum Aqua Markers). Die-cut image and adhere it to card.
  • Embellish card with twine and dew drops.

Let it Snow

I had a lot of fun making this card and honestly loved the way it turned out. Sometimes you just have to sit down and enjoy coloring.
  • Stamp image on a piece of white cardstcok in Memento London Fog, use your MISTI and keep it in there for later impression.
  • Color images with markers, then enhance the shadow parts with pencils(here I used Spectrum Noir)
  • After that, apply a good amount of Crystal Lacquer and sprinkle super fine glitter and set aside to dry (at least 2 hours, better if overnight)
  • Die-cut image and also die-cut a layer of snow acetate and adhere them together. (TIP: Add adhesive only on the bottom part, that will be covered)
  • Make a card base from Kraft cardstock, 5.75" 5.5", dry emboss a piece of Coastal Cardstock and adhere them to card base.
  • Adhere image to card base, add snow gold snowflakes, add adhesive to them to hold the top part of the snow acetate.
